Picking up the paint brush

After roughly three years I've picked up the paint brush again.

Actually that's a lie, I'm about to pick up the paint brush. I used to paint miniatures, mostly Lord of the Rings or things by Privateer Press. Since my husband got into it he put me off painting. He would drive me nuts, asking questions or telling me I painted something wrong or taking all of the paint, it go to the point it wasn't fun any more.

And if it's not fun, then there is no point really.

However, Privateer Press have released a new army called Convergence and I have to admit I was hooked. It's gears and clockwork so I'm in.

We pooled the last bit of cash we had and purchased the miniatures on Tuesday. By Thursday I had all 4 miniatures glued together.

Tonight starts the undercoat - I'll be using a brown since my color scheme is Red & Gold.

I've also started knitting gifts for Christmas again. One scarf down and two shawls to go!
